NCAAF Power Rankings

Entering week eight of the breeders cup betting NCAAF season, seven of the top 10 teams remain undefeated. With only a month left in the 2011 college football regular season, the coming weeks should indicate whether or not teams qualify for the BCS bowl games or for the non-BCS bowl games. With that in mind, here is a bookie software look at the power rankings after seven weeks.

1. LSU Tigers (8 – 0) The Tigers continue to cruise this season, as despite being undermanned on paper, they were anything but in their victory over Auburn. The Tigers were missing three players to suspension, but still managed to come away with the 45 to 10 victory over last year’s National Champion. LSU will now rest up before a showdown with the Alabama Crimson Tide in week nine of NFL NCCAF season.

2. Alabama Crimson Tide (8 – 0) The Crimson Tide has seemingly been on cruise control all season in 2011. As a result of the les affair mentality, Alabama almost saw its undefeated streak come to an end at the hands of a gutsy performance by the Tennessee Volunteers. The Volunteers were able to hold off the Tide for the first half of the game. Yet, in the second half, Alabama woke up and realized whom they were facing. Meaning to say, the 37 to six victory was a mild beat down to how the game could have gone. Look for Alabama to go through some grueling practices before facing LSU in week nine.

3. Oklahoma State Cowboys (7 – 0) OSU is a surprise number three on the power rankings, after interstate rivals the Oklahoma Sooners saw their hopes of a national title go into a free fall after losing to Texas Tech this past weekend. Oklahoma State has been cruising so far, but can they squeak into the National Title game?
