Super Bowl Betting Tips
Over the past two weeks, Super Bowl betting has taken on a life of its own, as various sportsbooks both online and in Las Vegas and New Jersey, have placed odds on a slew of events at the big game. From wagering on the game itself, to the halftime act, bettors have a fair amount of bookie software options to wager upon. With only a week until the biggest game of the year, we’ll be looking at a few prop bets that have received a ton of action. Here is a guide to help you along.
With former 1980s superstar Madonna as the halftime show, you just knew that the sportsbooks wouldn’t waste anytime placing odds on her. The biggest bet allows for the bettor to make a profit, based on how the question was worded. Essentially, the sportsbooks are asking the bettor “what color will Madonna’s hair be when she sings at the halftime show?” the three options to choose from, are Blonde -250 or Any other color at +250. The safe bet is anything else, as Madonna is one of those stars, that always does the unexpected the night of her performances.
Another big prop bet being asked of bettors, is how many times Peyton Manning will be on TV during the game? Manning the older brother of New York Giants star Eli Manning, will play host to both New York and New England, as the game is being played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The NFL score for the total wager on this bet is set at three and a half, as Manning’s personal suite should be showed often. For all intents and purposes, we expect the total to go under, as rumor has it that Manning will not show in order to embarrass current Colts owner Jim Irsay.
